Always Alone I sit, alone again. No one disturbs my solitude, While I silently wish that someone Would stop to chat. Words spill onto the page, Closely followed by tears of loneliness. Couples walk by, hand in hand. I envy their happiness, Wondering what it must be like To know that you are loved. But when I try to say these thoughts aloud, No one cares enough to listen, To try and understand. Open your eyes and ears, Stories like mine are all around. Heed my tale, and look behind the facade, Before I, too, am lost. For I cannot fight this battle alone forever...
